KUMHO to run first ever UK radio campaign
 
Top match tickets for Manchester United to be won in prize draw

Kumho Tyres is running its first ever radio advertising campaign in the UK during January. The humorous commercials based on the mistaken identity of famous Manchester United football players encourage listeners to log on to www.bigmatchtickets.co.uk, find the address of their local Kumho ECSTA Performance Centre and visit them so they can enter a prize draw.

The prizes for the draw include pairs of tickets to a top Manchester United home game (including travel and accommodation) and vouchers for Manchester United's online Megastore. All entrants to the draw will be offered discounts for use in the online store.

The 40 second radio commercials are being broadcast in two one‑week bursts on TalkSPORT and selected local stations to an audience of over nine million throughout the UK. Emails will also be sent by Manchester United to members of their registered UK fan base to alert them to the draw.

This joint venture with Manchester United is the first of its kind for Kumho since it became a Platinum Sponsor of the club earlier this year. Other joint ventures are planned for 2008.
