Kumho-backed French rallycross ace Jean-Luc Pailler won the 8th round of the FIA European Rallycross Championship at Valkenswaard in the Netherlands, following a second place finish in the previous round at Maasmechelen, Belgium. This was the first win for a driver on Kumho tyres in Europe's premier Rallycross championship since Michael Jernberg's victory in Belgium in August 2005.
After the race, Pailler commented: 'It was my Kumho tyres which did the job.'
